Get Festival-Ready with Us!

Join Our Free Community Workshops

As we count down to A Perfect Day 2025, we’re inviting you to be part of the fun before the festival even begins!

Join us over two exciting days of free, drop-in workshops led by the brilliant Jo Flanagan from Rise and Shine Theatre Company. Especially designed for people with additional needs, these workshops are all about getting ready for the Festival Parade — and you’re invited to help us make it happen!

Whether you’ve got five minutes or a full hour to spare, pop in and take part in:

  • 🖌️ Prop Making
  • 💃 Simple Dance Routines
  • 👐 Sign Supported English to Festival Songs

These creative sessions are open to everyone — no experience needed, just a sense of fun and a willingness to join in. You’ll be learning moves and signs that will feature in our big Festival Parade on Saturday 19 July, so it’s a great way to feel part of the celebration.

Volunteer Call To Action

Join the Magic Behind the Scenes! Volunteer for A Perfect Day Festival – July 19th, 2025

Love music, people, and making the world a bit more joyful? Come and be part of something truly special.

We’re looking for volunteers to help us bring  A Perfect Day Festival to life on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, at Cherry Garth Scout Camp near Humberston. This isn’t just a festival—it’s a celebration of creativity, inclusion, and community for people with additional needs across Lincolnshire.

And you could be right at the heart of it.

👋 What We Need Help With

We’re assembling a passionate, welcoming team of volunteers to support us with roles such as:

  • 🛠 Setup Crew – Help us prepare the site on the morning of the event (or the day before).
  • 🚗 Car Park Stewards – Be a friendly face welcoming guests and helping them get safely parked.
  • 🎈 On-the-Day Helpers – Assist with directions, stalls, refreshments, artist support, and keeping the vibe joyful and relaxed.
  • 🧹 Tidy Team / Clear-Up Crew – Stay behind at the end to help us pack up and leave the site as lovely as we found it.
  • 🌼 Access & Inclusion Buddies – Support guests with additional needs (only if you’re comfortable and we’ll guide you).

  • Optional Inclusion Training Day access on June 27th at Grimsby Central Hall – especially valuable if you’re new to supporting people with additional needs

✅ Who Can Volunteer?

Anyone aged 18+. You don’t need any specific experience—just kindness, reliability, and a positive attitude.

If you do have experience working with people with additional needs, or an enhanced DBS check, let us know. But if not, no worries—there’s still a place for you.

Pick ‘N’ Mix Party – Feb 14th Grimsby Central Hall

Join Us for Pick ‘N’ Mix Party Vol 2 – A Fun-Filled Inclusive Event!

Perfect Festivals is thrilled to announce our next exciting event, Pick ‘N’ Mix Party Vol 2, taking place on February 14th, 2025, at Grimsby Central Hall. This event is specially designed for people with disabilities, their friends, and families, offering an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere where everyone can celebrate together.

Running from 1 PM to 4 PM, this event promises to be another unforgettable experience, building on the success of our November event. With a mix of returning favorites and exciting new additions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

The event will feature the return of our resident DJ Kieran, who will once again be spinning the tunes that got everyone dancing last time, alongside the mesmerizing circus performances by the Earthbound Misfits, which were a huge hit in November. The dazzling lasers and lights that created such an incredible atmosphere will also be back to set the scene for an unforgettable afternoon. New to this event is a live acoustic performance by the talented Emily Ashberry and friends, which will be broadcast live on our in-house Perfect Radio Show and streamed throughout the venue on wireless headphones, adding a fresh and exciting element to the day.

Perfect Festivals is dedicated to creating events that are accessible, inclusive, and full of joy. Our mission is to bring communities together in a safe, welcoming, and creative environment. Pick ‘N’ Mix Party Vol 2 is another step in our journey to make celebrations accessible to all.
