A Perfect Day 2025

A Perfect Day Festival is a one day music and contemporary arts event in Lincolnshire exclusively organised for people with addition needs their friends and families. It’s more than a festival—it’s a celebration of creativity, inclusion, and joy. It’s when a community comes together to create a vibrant, welcoming space where everyone can relax, have fun, and feel truly included.

On the 19th of July 2025 A Perfect Day returns to the brilliant Cherry Garth Scout Camp for another unforgettable day filled with music, magic, movement and more. With support from Arts Council England and North East Lincs Council we are excited to be organising this unique festival once more and our ambitions are bigger than ever.

What’s On

Expect a packed line-up of performances, activities, and opportunities to get involved:

  • Live music from artists including LyfordCommon Faults, and Punjabi Roots Academy
  • Circus, Theatre & dance performances from Creative Heights, Earth Bound Misfits and Casson & Friends
  • A joyful parade inviting everyone to join in led by Punjabi Roots Drummers
  • Perfect Radio / silent disco – tune in with wireless headphones and dance at your own pace
  • Interactive workshops, games, and creative activities for all ages
  • Face painting, bubbles, Zumba sessions, and even a magician
  • Plus, you won’t know which way is up in the Anti Gravity Box!!

All activities are delivered in a supportive, non-judgmental environment where everyone is welcome and encouraged to take part at their own pace.

Food, Facilities & Access

  • A range of food and drink stalls will be available on site as well as a licenced bar
  • The site is accessible, with friendly volunteers and staff available to support.
  • Wheelchair tracking accessing all areas & Assisted Mobiloo
  • Quiet zones and sensory-friendly spaces
  • Accessible toilets and first aid available throughout the day
  • Car parking is free, but is limited on site. Please try and car share, use public transport or use the drop off and pick up zone on the entry to the site.

Tickets go on sale Friday 9 May 9.00am via:

Early Bird Adult £20.00 , Early Bird Under 16’s £15.00

Adult Full Price £25.00 , Under 16’s Full Price £20.00

Under 5’s – Go Free (Ticket must be booked with an adult ticket)

Carer Tickets are FREE, but must be booked with a standard ticket. If more than a 1:1 carer ratio is required please contact perfectfestivals@gmail.com

We encourage early booking, as spaces are limited and demand is high.

All The Important Information About A Perfect Day 2025

📅 Date: Saturday 19 July 2025
🕒 Time: Gates open at 11:00 AM | Event runs from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Cherry Garth Scout Camp, South Sea Lane, Humberston, Grimsby, DN36 4SF

🚗 Travel & Parking

  • On-site parking is free but limited – please car share, use public transport, or use the drop-off/pick-up zone at the entrance.
  • Hi-vis stewards will be present to guide traffic and arrivals.
  • Public Transport: Accessible by local bus routes from Grimsby (e.g. Route 8 and 50). The nearest stop is Cannon Oakes Court, a short walk to the site.

  • On Sale: Friday 9 May 2025
  • Advance booking advised: Previous events have sold out. Tickets may not be available on the day.
  • Re-entry: Permitted with your wristband.

Accessibility

  • The site is fully wheelchair accessible, including tracking access across the site.
  • An Assisted Mobiloo with hoist and changing space will be available.
  • Trained volunteers and friendly staff will be on hand to support attendees throughout the day.
  • A quiet/sensory space will be available.
  • Assistance animals and dogs are welcome.

🧳 What to Bring & Site Rules

  • You may bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • No alcohol may be brought onto the site – a licensed bar will be available.
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted on-site.
  • Bag checks are not routine but may be carried out at security’s discretion.
  • Prohibited items: Alcohol, illegal substances, and any dangerous or disruptive items.

🍴 Food, Drink & Comfort

  • A variety of food and drink vendors will be on site, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and blended food options.
  • Some vendors may be cash only – please bring cash as well as card where possible.
  • There will be seating and shaded areas available, but we recommend bringing your own picnic blanket or camping chair.

🚨 Support & Emergencies

Trained volunteers will be present to support individuals with additional needs.

A first aid point and ambulance will be on site for medical assistance.

A lost & found point will be located near the entrance.
